The Columbia Heights 5-year-old is believed to be the first Minnesotan tulku (reincarnated lama). This was confirmed by the Dalai Lama himself. At the age of ten, Dorjee will leave Minnesota and live and study at a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in India. Meanwhile, he lives the life of a young monk and still plays like a typical kid.
